The Biggest Kris Jenner Burns of Caitlyn Jenner Thus Far

Several months ago, when Caitlyn Jenner went public with her transition, many people wondered how her family felt. After all, prior to transitioning, Jenner was known as the olympic gold medalist, Bruce Jenner, who in more recent years had become known a reality start on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, and as the patriarch of the Kardashian/Jenner family. While the family initially seemed supportive, Caitlyn made several comments about her marriage to Kris Jenner which didn’t sit well with Kris. As you can imagine,  Kris had a lot to say in response, and she didn’t take lightly to Caitlyn insinuating that their relationship was bordering on abusive. In response, Kris has made a few comments of her own, and let’s just say things could get ugly if these two decide to take the petty route. Here are the biggest Kris Jenner burns of  Caitlyn Jenner thus far.

Back off!

In September, rumors began circulating that Kris and Caitlyn Jenner were having a bit of a rift. Of course, some tension was to be expected, but for the most part the family did their best to hide any animosity they may have been feeling. Apparently, even for a family like the Jenners, there simply isn’t enough shopping to go around. According to a source, Kris, who loves shopping with her youngest daughters, became annoyed when she realized that Caitlyn was taking the girls shopping instead. A source close to the family stated that Kris “told Caitlyn to stick with her desert vehicles and leave the girly shopping trips for her.” It looks like Kris doesn’t want to feel like her role as mother is being taken over by Caitlyn, and she’s holding her ground pretty firmly.

Father’s Day

When Father’s Day rolled around, many people noticed that Kris Jenner didn’t shout Caitlyn out on this special day. Although she has transitioned, Caitlyn has made it clear that she is still her children’s father, so many thought that Jenner was firing a subliminal shot by not acknowledging Caitlyn’s role. While some would like to believe that Kris is simply waiting until Mother’s Day to show her appreciation for Caitlyn, a source says that that isn’t the case at all. According to this person, “Kris is still mad at Caitlyn for how she was portrayed in the Vanity Fair interview. She thinks Caitlyn threw her under the bus. This is why she didn’t make a point of wishing her a Happy Father’s Day on social media.” Just in case you forgot, ‘hell hath no fury like a woman scorned’!

You’re not…amazing.

While most people accept the fact that Caitlyn’s decision to transition, especially in the public eye, definitely takes a lot of courage, some people seem to forget how hard it must be for Kris Jenner. Imagine what it’s like to be married to someone, have two kids with them, and then have them tell you that they feel like they’ve been born into the wrong body and want to transition to the opposite sex. Yeah, that can be a lot to take in, and although Kris has tried to hide it, she’s had some tough moments trying to cope with this new reality. When the couple met for the first time after Caitlyn’s appearance drastically changed, the reunion was full of emotions. During the meeting, Kris made sure to speak her mind and let Caitlyn know how she really felt, especially in response to Caitlyn’s Vanity Fair interview. Kris stated, “You’re sensitive and amazing to all these new people in your life but you’re just not sensitive and amazing to the family you left behind. When you feel like you gave your whole life to somebody. And the sum of it all was you were a distraction.” However, Caitlyn proved to be a little on the insensitive side and refused to apologize for her comments.

Failed marriage

On a recent episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kris’ whole reaction to Caitlyn’s Vanity Fair interview was caught up tape. During the interview, Caitlyn opened up about her marriage to Kris and revealed that it wasn’t really a good situation, and that the couple was mostly putting on a front, and had two children to help act as a distraction to the fact that their marriage wasn’t happy. While Caitlyn didn’t seem to mean the comments maliciously, Kris was extremely offended by what she had to say. During the show, Kris nearly explodes when sharing her feelings about the interview. Kris told Kim that she felt like Caitlyn attempted to make her look like a “piece of sh*t,” and she also said that she didn’t appreciate how the marriage was portrayed to be something negative. Kris definitely had a few other choice words for Caitlyn, and she even reverted back to calling her Bruce. Kris has since said that she and Caitlyn have been able to move past the interview, but only time will tell whether or not the two can really remain friends.
