IF someone can stretch to its $7.5 million asking price, South Australia's most expensive home will hit the market this weekend.
The seven-bedroom, eight-bathroom 19 Burnalta Crescent, Burnside mansion - complete with indoor swimming pool, spa, sauna and badminton court - will go on the market for the first time since it was built.
Geoff and his partner, who wished not to be identified, purchased the land in 1989 and the mansion, built over two blocks, was completed in 1994.
"A lot of the inspiration came from grand hotels from around the world," Geoff says.
The home cost more than $3 million to build and is set on a 3219sq m block.
